Arther P. Hart
Practice Summary
Arther is one of our associate attorneys here at Bearnson & Caldwell, LLC. His practice includes criminal law, contract law, litigation, regulatory/administrative law, and family law involving children, with an emphasis on and personal experience in adoption, foster care and DCFS related matters. Before joining our firm, Arther performed extensive research in the medical regulatory field as a legal intern for the Penn State Center for Medical Innovation, and was an elder law research assistant to Professor Katherine Pearson at Pennsylvania State University. In doing so, he assisted in developing training modules for the Pennsylvania courts to educate newly appointed guardians of incapacitated adults and assisted with updating a chapter on Medicaid in Elder Law in a Nutshell, 6th Edition with the relevant citations, regulations and statues.
Academic Degrees and Achievements
Arther is a proud Aggie, and graduated from Utah State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Biological Engineering and a minor in Chemistry. At USU he was on the Engineering Student Council and headed a design project for synthesizing microcarriers as a platform for pharmaceutical delivery of quercetin for antiviral applications. He then pursued his legal education at Penn State University – Dickinson School of Law and received his J.D. in 2020, a certificate for Entrepreneurship Law with a concentration in Transactional Law, and the CALI award for Antitrust. Shortly thereafter, he was admitted to the Utah State Bar and Idaho State Bar.
Biographical Information
Arther was born and raised here in Cache Valley and attended InTech Collegiate High School where he found his love for robotics. He met his wife at USU, and they bonded over their passion for children’s issues. They now have a wonderfully blended family with 5 children.
In his free time, Arther enjoys woodworking, working in agriculture, four-wheeling, playing strategy games and robotics.
