Wayman M. Stodart

Wayman M. Stodart’s practice focuses on a variety of litigation issues, including criminal defense, civil litigation, employment law, and family law. Before joining the firm, Wayman served as a judicial intern to the United States District Court for the District of Utah, worked in intellectual property as a summer associate at Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear in Seattle, and worked as a researcher on the Multistate Guide to Trusts and Trust Administration. This breadth of experience has allowed him familiarity with the unique needs of clients in a variety of industries.
Academic Degrees
Wayman is proud to be a home-grown Aggie, having graduated Cum Laude from Utah State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Political science. At USU, he was a member of Sigma Pi Sigma and taught introductory Physics lab courses for the USU Physics Department. He received his legal education at Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as an articles editor on the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. He received his J.D. in 2016, and thereafter was admitted to the Utah State Bar.
Biographical Information
Wayman was born in Logan, Utah, and has called Cache Valley home all his life. He is an avid fan of theatre and the arts, and participated in Cache Valley Civic Ballet’s annual performances for many years. Wayman’s interests involve piano, reading, and debate.
